Prisoner is the intro. song to Jordan Bratton’s new EP, Youth. It features Chance The Rapper. Both artists present contradictory material of sacrilege over an equally contradictory instrumental of gospel influence, and tamed base guitar plucks and drum beats. At first it seems like the pairing would not mesh, yet the restraint practiced free the song to it’s harmonious glory.
