Dope Ent. made a lot of noise with their Rolling Loud festival last year in Miami, FL. Unpredictably, the Miami weather made just as much ruckus as a torrential, biblical downpour”, described by rapper Alex Wiley, attempted to drown everyone’s good time, but as the idiom goes ‘you can’t rain on my parade‘, in this case, festival. Directors McCain Merren and Stephen Schuyler provide footages from CitrusRap, Yes Julz, and others to exhibit the overall care free attitude of countless incredible fans drenched in rain, or maybe their own sweat as they immersed themselves in enthusiasm from the performances of laud worthy rappers: Curren$y, Travi$ Scott, Alex Wiley, Schoolboy Q, Denzel Curry, Retch, Robb Bank$, Pouya, Post Malone, and many others. At a certain point the crowd got so lit that rapper Retch had to set off a fire extinguisher. The documentary also provides footage of Dope Ent. founders Tariq and Matt sharing some details on bringing their monster of a festival to life, and dealing with the outpour of not just rain but also the outpour of support from friends, family, and thousands of fans.

Rolling Loud 2 begins May 6 to May 7 2016, in Miami, FL at Mana Wynwood. Ticket sales and line ups will be announced this upcoming March 7th. For more info. click here, for more footage from Rolling Loud click here for a highlight reel of the festival.
