Kendrick Lamar – untitled unmastered(EP)

Kendrick Lamar’s 8 track project ‘untitled unmastered’ is comprised of songs that did not make it onto Kendrick’s 2015 Grammy rap album of the year ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’. Each track bares the mark of when they were recorded within the 2013 – 2016 time period. Kendrick performed ‘untitled 08(09.26.2014)’ with The Roots on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, ‘untitled 08(09.06.2014)’ on the last episode of The Colbert Report in 2015, and hopefully a few tracks may be performed at the Okeechobee Festival today in Lake Okeechobee, Florida. The productions, one can safely assume, are from Thundercat, Terrace Martin, and Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys’ 5 year old son Egypt who is seen below on the keyboard producing a melody that began as his morning hum and matured into the  ‘untitled 07 (2014 – 2016)’, track 7 of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘untitled unmastered’ project.
